BuildEye is a communication and scheduling platform for the residential construction industry. BuildEye makes it easy for the house owner, architect and contractors to communicate in an efficient way and to schedule all the tasks easily.

Matthias Bekaert became a freelance web- and app-developer at the age of 19 already, during his studies industrial science, with a major in informatics. He specialized in developing websites and online applications with a focus on portfolio and keeping data about stock or clients. In 2015 he co-founded shApp.it, an app that saves users time by eliminating queing in the grocery store. In addition to part of the programming work, he was responsible for sales, marketing and external relations. Recently, and still at very young age, he realized his first company deal, and sold shApp.it to one of its early customers. Matthias is a passionate, promising and ambitious entrepreneur, combining technical background in web- and app-development, with first experience in founding, growing and selling a start-up despite young age. Matthias will act as CEO of BuildEye.

Jeroen Dille summed up his professional career at Materialise starting at the age of 24 as a Product Manager. During his career at the Belgian 3D printing specialist, which lasted more than 10 years, he became an Executive Director of the Clinical Business Unit, and made the department big from the ground up into a major player in the medical world, and this by achieving partnerships with leading medical device companies. As a member of the Executive Committee of Materialise, Jeroen contributed to the impressive growth path of the company, from a typical Flemish SME of 250 employees in 2004 to a 1250 employees, NASDAQ listed global company. He was a member of several boards of directors. With the recent launch of OrthoGrow and as creator of BuildEye Jeroen shifted from intrapreneurship into entrepreneurship. Jeroen is passionate about building, coaching and leading teams. He has experience in business development, negotiation techniques and converting market opportunities into innovative solutions. Jeroen currently acts as COO of BuildEye, and guides product development.

David Van der Auwera – at the age of 22 already – was a founding partner of The House of Sales providing advice and coaching in B2B sales, and which could count KBC, SAP, IBM and ATOS among its customers. After acquisition of his shares by one of his partners, he was director of the Brussels Chamber of Commerce for two years. In 2012, he became CEO of Groupon Belgium and built the Belgian subsidiary of the successful American giant in two years from the ground up to a leading collective buying platform. Under his leadership, Groupon Belgium was elected to Best Retail Website and Best Deal Commerce Website in Belgium. After a period of more than a year as Director of the Materialise Clinical Unit, responsible for global OEM sales, David was interim-CEO of Doctor Anytime Belgium, initiating the business in Belgium. OrthoGrow and BuildEye are his following startups. David is strategically strong in sales, marketing and digital. He is an avid supporter of CRM systems in enterprises and familiar with contemporary methodologies such as lean startup and growth hacking. David takes care of all marketing as CMO of BuildEye.

At the age of 26, Tim Clijmans founded his first venture in consultancy and the same year he was elected Flemish young high-potential by Vlerick and Vacature. One year later he was one of the founders of Mobelife, specialized in the design and 3D printing of customized implants in the orthopedic sector. Mobelife realized thanks to the efforts of a strong team of 25 employees in 2014 a turnover of more than EUR 1 million. Following the acquisition in 2015 by majority shareholder Materialise, Tim continued as CEO of Mobelife for another year, and was also responsible for the Clinical Global Direct Sales of the Materialise Group. In that year, Tim was nominated Belgian Innovator under 35 by MIT. He was a member of several boards of directors. Meanwhile, with OrthoGrow and BuildEye, he is up to his third and fourth startup. He was a member of the jury of Bizidee, a business plan contest at the initiative of the Enterprise Agency, for three years and he is already four years a member of the Business Angels Network Vlaanderen. Tim is passionate about entrepreneurship, and possessed of converting an idea into a fully-fledged business plan in the search for funding. Tim is solely supports all financial aspects as CFO of BuildEye.
